Coach Thomson spent the past five seasons as the Head Football Coach at  Northview High School and Tucker High School in Georgia, earning Region Coach of the Year honors in 2019.


In 2016, Coach Thomson served as an Offensive Analyst at UCLA under Offensive Coordinator, Kennedy Polamalu.  He worked with the Running Backs and assisted with recruiting the South.












Prior to his college stint, Coach T served as the Head Football Coach at Cornerstone, Gainesville and DeLand High Schools.  In 2012, He guided the Gainesville Purple Hurricanes to a 14-1 record with its only loss coming in the 6A state championship game against Miami Central.  He earned 6A Coach of the Year honors as well as a few National Coach of the Year nominations.





As an assistant coach in Florida, Thomson coached the Quarterbacks at Edgewater High School and was the Offensive Coordinator at Jones High School.


Along with his experience running football programs, Coach Thomson has had the privilege to coach numerous padded camps across the globe for the All-Poly organization.  Since 2008, Thomson has coached camps in Utah, California, Hawaii, Texas and Samoa. 


Since 2004, Coach has worked for the Nike Coach of the Year Clinics where he assisted helping organize the Orlando event.  Thomson has also spoke at numerous clinics across the country both for Nike as well as different Division-I Universities. 


Thomson grew up in Orlando, FL and graduated from Dr. Phillips High School in 2000 where he played Quarterback for the Panthers.  He played two seasons of arena football while finishing his degree in Coaching at UCF.  


Thomson currently serves as the Head Football Coach at Winter Haven High School in Polk County, FL.  He is married to the former Ryan Romprey and the proud father of his two daughters, Liahona and Rosie-Jay.
